Meet Dr. Morgan
A Cave Creek-based Optometrist who strives to give all of his patients personalized, caring, and thorough eye exams.
Dr. Seth Morgan is committed to providing excellent eye care to all of his patients. He has been helping to improve vision and eye health with thousands of patients since 2008. Dr. Morgan is well-trained to diagnose and treat all manner of eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathies, and all types of eye infections and conjunctivitis (allergic, bacterial, viral, etc.). He also thoroughly enjoys doing his best to improve the vision of all of his patients through glasses and/or contact lenses.
Education and Experience
Dr. Morgan grew up in the Phoenix, AZ area. After graduating from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, AZ, he received his B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He was then accepted to and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN—a highly-respected private optometry school. Part of his education included externship rotations at Total Eye Care in Memphis, TN and with Dr. Steven Shum in Germantown, TN. His externship at Total Eye Care included heavy emphasis on pre- and post-op cataract and refractive surgeries as well as monitoring and treating all types of glaucoma. He was also able to work closely with a glaucoma specialist and an oculoplastics surgeon and observe the various surgeries they performed. Dr. Morgan's other externship involved all primary eye care in a private practice setting with a special emphasis on contact lenses, including significant and valuable experience with specialty contact lens fits (for people with keratoconus, post-conrneal graft, post-RK, etc.), and corneal surface disease (all types of dry eye syndromes as well as contact lens-related complications). He has been well-trained to encounter all manner of eye or vision problems.
After returning back to Arizona, Dr. Morgan had the opportunity to work in various settings until Complete Eye Care became available for purchase. Formerly known as Advanced Vision, the practice has a ten year history of providing first class eye and vision care to the people of Cave Creek and Carefree. Living just a few minutes away in the same community, Dr. Morgan is excited to serve his neighbors and community members by providing excellent eye care and the best glasses and contact lenses available.
On a more personal note, Dr. Morgan and his wife, Angie, love spending time with their four kids.
